The Symphony is at an exciting moment of its 32 year history.

From a pool of 100 applicants the Symphony’s Conductor Search Committee is in the process of narrowing down the field to three outstanding Final Candidates. These three candidates will be invited to submit a program crafted around the specifications given them by our orchestra. Each candidate will come to Bismarck and spend a week in rehearsal with our musicians culminating in their performance as the Guest Conductor at their assigned Symphony Subscription Concert.

As a Subscriber to the 2007-2008 Symphony Series you will be invited to exclusive meet and greet parties planned for each candidate. This will give you, our subscriber, a chance to meet each of the candidates in an elegant and intimate setting.
