The Bismarck-Mandan Symphony League is a volunteer
organization, committed to the support of the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony
Orchestra through financial, educational, and promotional
activities.
They have raised over $425,000 for the Symphony over the last
30 years and purchased instruments and equipment for the
Orchestra including the Timpani, Bass Drum and stand, Chimes,
Tam-tam, Bb Bass Clarinet, Eb Soprano Clarinet, Russian music,
and a fax machine for the office.
The League has underwritten instruments for many children in the
Bismarck-Mandan area. They also sponsor a concert and help sponsor
the education concerts for area wide 4th graders.
The two main activities of the League are it's Holiday Home Walk
scheduled for November 19, 2006 and Wild and Wooly Wing Ding.
League members are committed and enthusiastic, and orchestra members
are most welcome to join.
